Front-End Web Developer ( 2 )
+3 years of experience building WordPress sites
Meet tight deadlines as required
Designing and implementing new features and functionality into existing WordPress sites
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax
Working knowledge of WordPress development including custom themes, custom plugins, and implementing third party plugins
Experience with SEO Best Practices, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Yoast
Keep a close eye on metadata importance while addressing technical SEO such as site speed, coding, and removing errors.
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into a WordPress theme
Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
Ability to interpret and implement web designs
Experience designing and developing responsive design marketing websites
Demonstrate proficiency with Chrome and/or Firefox debugging tools
Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is required.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugins.
Bonus:
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON)
Experience with cross-browser compatibility and cross-platform testing.
Expertise in Object Oriented Design using PHP
Working knowledge of database design and interaction
Overall PHP strength and ability to rapidly learn new frameworks is important
Experience in E-Commerce Industry
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization while continuing to identify power keywords to drive the most valuable traffic.
